Prospective students are invited to join a virtual Q&A session from 16.00 until 17.00 BST on 2 October 2020 to hear and ask questions about the experiences of current PhD students and staff from underrepresented groups at King’s College London, featuring speakers from the CDT in Smart Medical Imaging.

We recognise that privilege currently plays an important part in who succeeds in a career in academia. Inequality in outcomes is particularly evident for students who come from black minority ethnic or low-income backgrounds, or who are living with a disability. This is something that our team at the CDT in Smart Medical Imaging is keen to help to change. We are proud to collaborate on this event with the Wellcome Trust PhD Training Programmes in Neuro-Immune Interactions in Health & Disease and in Advanced Therapies for Regenerative Medicine, the MRC Doctoral Training Partnership and the London Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme.

If you are interested in taking part, sign up now via our online form and watch the video below featuring some of the speakers at the event.
